About This Dog for Adoption

Rio's ideal home

5-years-old Rio is looking for a loving home that can provide him with patience and reassurance. He would benefit from being be the only dog within the home as he can be a little unsure with most dogs. As Rio can be quite a fearful little lad, his new family would need to be children from 14-years and over. Rio likes to be around his human companions majority of the time so his leaving hours will need to be 1-4hrs and to be built up slowly.

Could you be Rio's perfect match?

Rio is currently in foster care and is proving to be a perfect little houseguest. He is loving, loyal and very affectionate. He is fully housetrained, travels very well in the car and a real "lap dog". It doesn't take long to gain his trust but we recommend that Rio would need multiple visits here in the centre, to ensure he has built a strong bond with his new adopters.
