Meet Maggi, a delightful Jack Russell cross with a heart full of love! She is a friendly girl who is currently spending time getting cuddles in her foster home. Maggi would prefer to be the only pet in the home but is happy to potentially make some doggy walking friends to go exploring with, as long as they are calm and polite! She is a lovely girl that would do well living in a home with primary school aged children or older. Maggi does have some medical needs which will be discussed with our vet team. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate dog that will go everywhere with you then Maggi is your girl!

Maggi has previously lived in a home and so she is fully housetrained and knows her basics such as 'sit' and her name. She can be left for up to 4 hours but this will need gradually building up in her new home whilst she settles in. Maggi travels really well in the car and will happily hop in to go on her next adventure! Treats are the main way into Maggi's heart and anything meaty will get you extra cuddles or a fantastic display of how well she can give 'paw'.

Jack Russell Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Jack Russell.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
