Description

Levin's ideal home

Levin is a happy, people-loving Jack Russell Terrier cross who cannot wait to find a home where he can be part of the action. At 2 years old, he is friendly and full of curiosity. He can live with children of any age, but as he gets excited and jumps up, parents will need to help younger ones manage his enthusiasm. Levin must be the only dog in the home, he prefers meeting calm canine friends on walks—just as long as they respect his space. He will need to stay on a lead in public around other dogs. We have no history on how he gets on with cats.

Levin is eager to learn and always has his nose on the lookout for a tasty treat, which will make training easier. He has not had much formal training before and is not yet housetrained, so his new family should be happy to guide him as he settles in.

Could you be Levin's perfect match?

If you are looking for an affectionate and playful buddy, Levin could be the one. He adores people and is always ready for a cuddle. He is good for both grooming and vet visits, so keeping him smart will not be a problem. He has not shown much interest in toys but sometimes takes one to bed to fall asleep with. Levin is still getting used to car journeys, so he will need some encouragement when hopping in.

Levin is such an affectionate lad with so much love to give, he is going to be a fabulous member of the family!

Jack Russell Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Jack Russell.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
