Alfie does enjoy attention and interaction with his owner, although he is an independent boy who is not a lapdog. Alfie likes having his own space and can sometimes be uncomfortable being handled, he would like a home with calm owners and no children. He is a happy little man and he loves his walks! He likes to explore and have a sniff in amongst the leaves and the tall grass. Alfie would need to be the only pet in the home as he prefers the company of his family rather than other dogs.

Alfie is looking for a peaceful home with an experienced owner who has owned Terriers before. He can be uncomfortable with close handling and does take time to trust you. His favourite places to walk are areas with not many other dogs around where he can enjoy exploring and the peace and quiet. Alfie would love his own garden where he can potter and play with his toys before relaxing in his cosy bed.

Alfie is a clever little man who will sit nicely and give a paw for a tasty treat! He is fully housetrained and is happy to be at home for a couple of hours on his own.
